Advanced Training Set of Sensors and Actuators for Robotic Systems

• Purpose: extending the functional capabilities of training robotic manipulators in the Internet of Things (IoT), production automation and the development of intelligent interaction systems; the set collects data on the surrounding environment and implements feedback through actuators, so that students create complex algorithms for real-time interaction of the robot with the outside world
• Modules in the set: 12
• Set controller (switching unit): 32-bit microcontroller, 168 MHz clock; unified connectors for the modules of the set
• Module supply voltage: 3.3 to 7 V DC (nominal 5 V)
• Signal types: analogue (light level, sound level, potentiometer position) and digital (serial data bus, one-wire interface, discrete input/output lines, pulse-width modulation)

Controller

• Switching unit (controller), 32-bit microcontroller with 168 MHz clock, unified connectors for solder-free connection of the set modules with the supplied cables, link to the training manipulator and its programming environment — 1 pc

• Gesture recognition sensor, eight hand movement types (up, down, left, right, forward, backward, clockwise, counter-clockwise), recognition rate 240 Hz, working distance 5 to 15 cm, digital serial data bus — 1 pc
• Light level sensor, analogue output, 0 to 407 analogue-to-digital conversion units — 1 pc

The training robotic manipulator whose functions the modules of the set extend is not part of the product and is supplied separately.

The product comes with access to an AI assistant integrated into the learning management system and built on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): it forms answers from a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine.

AI Assistant Functions

• Task selection: automated selection of research tasks and experiments matching the topic of the lesson
• Methodological support: step-by-step description of the procedure for conducting experimental research
• Error analysis: identification of typical student errors and personalised recommendations for correcting them
• Adaptive difficulty: adaptation of task difficulty to different levels of student preparation
• Reports and conclusions: support in compiling reports on research results and in structuring the conclusions drawn from experiments
• Knowledge base: operation on a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine
• Licence: right of access to the software and materials valid for 12 months
• Language: content, interface and learning materials exclusively in Ukrainian
