Working Principle

The micro force sensor uses resistance strain gauge technology. The sensor forms a beam structure. When the sensor is subjected to force, the beam bends, the resistance strain gauge deforms, and its resistance changes accordingly. The output voltage of the bridge circuit composed of the resistance strain gauge changes. This signal is very weak and must be amplified and processed accordingly to obtain the final required output signal.

Measurement Capabilities

Range: -2 N to +2 N

Resolution: 0.01 N

Typical Applications

The Micro force sensor is a universal force sensor that can be easily operated by hand through the finger hole, and can also be installed on accessories such as a mechanical trolley for experimental measurements. It applies to Newton's Second and Third Laws, Hooke's Law, experiments demonstrating apparent weight increase and weightlessness, the momentum theorem, Ampère's force measurement, and others.

Caution

This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.

2Usage Tips

  1. The micro force sensor can measure b2oth tension and pressure. The software stipulates that tension readings are positive values and pressure readings are negative values.
  2. During the measurement process, attention should be paid to keeping the force direction of the sensor perpendicular to the end face of the sensor. Inclination of the force direction, such as pulling or pressing the sensor diagonally, will cause inaccurate measurement results.
  3. Perform software zero adjustment on the micro force sensor before use. Do not operate the sensor beyond its specified range. After use, the force sensor should be protected from prolonged stress to maintain the instrument's integrity.
  4. Since the micro force sensor hook itself has a small weight, the readings will vary when the hook is moved up and down. Please zero the force sensor through the software before use.

Working with UNOWA was a turning point for our university. Their expert-led training in ABA, ADOS-2 and MIKKO reshaped how we think, teach, and prepare inclusive educators. The model inclusion classroom they equipped has become a living lab, a space where theory becomes hands-on skill. This partnership didn’t just support a project. It laid the foundation for a more humane, modern and inclusive education system in Kazakhstan.
