Robotics Construction Kits

A comprehensive universal engineering and technical kit for modelling, construction and programming of automated systems in educational institutions. The kit is based on a modular architecture that allows programmable models of any configuration to be built: mobile robotic platforms, manipulators and stationary installations, for interdisciplinary STEM learning.

  • Components: 412 components, Micro:bit, 50 projects
  • Construction base: unified building blocks and connecting elements made of wear-resistant materials safe for use in schools; the number and range of parts are sufficient for simultaneous assembly of complex kinematic schemes without additional tools
  • Mechanical transmissions: gears, axles, belts and transmission links for studying the principles of motion conversion
  • Control unit: programmable Micro:bit-based microcontroller and control unit that controls the connected peripherals
  • Wireless communication: Bluetooth wireless connection with computing devices (PCs, tablets) for uploading program code and data exchange
  • Operating systems: compatible with common operating systems of PCs and tablets
  • Actuators: a set of motors and servos with precise control of speed and rotation angle, in the number required to build fully moving models
  • Sensors: sensors for interacting with the environment (distance, colour and touch detection), enabling feedback-control algorithms
  • Expansion: functionality can be extended by connecting additional electronic modules
  • Software: programming environment for the open Micro:bit platform supplied with the kit; visual block-based programming for the beginner level and text-based coding in a modern programming language (Python) for advanced study
  • Power supply: rechargeable batteries providing autonomous operation of the device for the duration of a lesson; charger included
  • Storage: storage container for sorting and organising the parts
  • Target users: Intended for school learners under teacher supervision

Kit Contents:

  • Micro:bit-based microcontroller and control unit.
  • Sensor modules, motors, servos and display elements.
  • Modular structural parts: beams, frames, axles, gears, belts, wheel and housing components, fasteners.
  • Power supply with charger (rechargeable batteries), storage container.
  • Access to the digital course with an integrated AI assistant, licence (right of access) for 12 months.

Educational Materials

The kit supports repeated assembly and disassembly and the connection of additional modules. The instructional materials include 50 educational projects, step-by-step instructions, 3D diagrams and video demonstrations: a library of ready-made engineering solutions and step-by-step scenarios for project tasks adapted to robotics curricula.

Powered by AI

icon plus

The AI assistant is a separate tool of the digital course, integrated into the learning management system (LMS). It is a software artificial intelligence agent built on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): the assistant forms its answers on the basis of information retrieved from a defined, localised knowledge base of learning materials aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine. It helps the teacher select materials and prepare lessons according to the topic of the lesson.

AI Assistant Functions
  • Task selection: automated selection of research tasks and experiments matching the topic of the lesson
  • Methodological support: step-by-step description of the procedure for conducting experimental research
  • Error analysis: identification and analysis of typical student errors and individualised (personalised) recommendations for correcting them
  • Adaptive difficulty: selection of tasks of different difficulty levels and adaptation of task difficulty to the students' level of preparation
  • Reports and conclusions: support in compiling reports on research results and in structuring the conclusions drawn from experiments
  • Knowledge base: operation on a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine
Access
  • Platform: AI assistant integrated into the learning management system (LMS) at edu.unowa.eu
  • Licence: Licence (right of access) to the software and materials: 12 months.
  • Language: All content, the interface and the teaching and learning materials are provided exclusively in Ukrainian.

Digital Learning Materials

The product includes access to digital teaching and learning materials developed in accordance with the requirements of the national curriculum of Ukraine. The materials make it possible to conduct lessons using ready-made methodological content and the tools of the platform, including the built-in AI assistant (RAG) that helps the teacher select materials and prepare lessons according to the topic of the lesson. Access to the digital course is activated with the data supplied with the product. The course is integrated into a learning management system (LMS).

Course Content

  • Structured research modules: physics, biology, chemistry, STEM and robotics
  • Experiment scenarios: scenarios for carrying out practical experiments
  • Laboratory instructions: step-by-step instructions for performing laboratory works
  • Video demonstrations: video demonstrations of experimental studies
  • Interactive tasks: interactive exercises and assignments

Equipment Compatibility

The course modules are fully (100 %) compatible with the equipment supplied to the school: every work description is designed for the exact microcontroller unit, sensors, motors and structural parts included in the product. The software and methodological complex provides a methodologically grounded link between the unit of equipment, the methodology of its use and the expected learning outcomes, following the pattern equipment → methodology → learning outcomes.

Terms

  • Platform: learning management system (LMS) at edu.unowa.eu
  • Licence: Licence (right of access) to the software and materials: 12 months.
  • Language: All content, the interface and the teaching and learning materials are provided exclusively in Ukrainian.

The digital teaching materials and the AI assistant are an integral part of the kit and are supplied together with it.

What our clients are saying about us.

Working with UNOWA was a turning point for our university. Their expert-led training in ABA, ADOS-2 and MIKKO reshaped how we think, teach, and prepare inclusive educators. The model inclusion classroom they equipped has become a living lab, a space where theory becomes hands-on skill. This partnership didn’t just support a project. It laid the foundation for a more humane, modern and inclusive education system in Kazakhstan.
