A wireless digital laboratory for the school biology classroom, supplied as a student workstation set of six self-contained sensors. K-12 learners measure environmental conditions, soil and water samples in real time and process the results on a learning management system with an AI assistant.

The kit includes access to an AI assistant integrated into the learning management system and built on retrieval-augmented generation: it forms its answers from a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine. The assistant is a separate tool of the digital course and uses generative artificial intelligence.

  • Task selection: automated selection of research tasks and experiments matching the topic of the lesson
  • Methodological support: step-by-step description of the procedure for conducting experimental research
  • Error analysis: identification of typical student errors and personalised recommendations for correcting them
  • Adaptive difficulty: adaptation of task difficulty to different levels of student preparation
  • Reports and conclusions: support in compiling reports on research results and in structuring the conclusions drawn from experiments

Work with experimental data
  • Automatic data transfer: data from the sensors reaches the platform automatically, without manual entry, so a study is carried out entirely in digital form

  • Patterns: identifies the patterns observed during the experiment
  • Reference comparison: compares measured values with reference values
  • Interpretation: helps students formulate hypotheses, conclusions and interpretations within a defined knowledge corridor

Digital Learning Materials

The kit includes access to a digital course - a multimedia teaching guide for demonstration, practical and laboratory work, hosted on a learning management system. The teaching materials run to 70 academic hours and are compiled to the national curriculum of Ukraine.

  • Access is provided on the edu.unowa.eu platform, using the data supplied with the product
  • The right of access to the software and materials runs for 12 months
  • Content and teaching materials are in Ukrainian; the platform interface is multilingual, with Ukrainian enabled by default and English available as an option
