The digital laboratory for the STEAM classroom performs measurements: real-time data acquisition from the laboratory setup, followed by upload and display of the results on an end device (screen, web platform), where learners can further use and process the data on the electronic platform with AI functions.

It is a teaching aid for collecting, processing and visualising experimental data in natural science and mathematics subjects, in particular for laboratory, practical and research work. The set consists of digital measuring instruments (sensors), accompanied by an operating manual, software and a methodological guide for the teacher and for the student in the form of a digital course with AI functions hosted on an electronic platform.

  • Access to the digital course in the learning management system (LMS), 70 academic hours, developed in accordance with the national curriculum of Ukraine — 1 licence
  • Access to the AI assistant built into the LMS and based on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — 1 licence
  • Licence (right of access) to the software and materials: 12 months.
  • All content and teaching and learning materials are provided exclusively in Ukrainian. The software platform interface is multilingual: Ukrainian localisation by default, with an English-language interface available as an option.
Sensors and data transfer
  • Each sensor is equipped with a 1.8-inch colour LCD screen that immediately displays the measurement results, which can be used to conduct the experiment.
  • The sensors operate autonomously, without additional devices and wires such as a data logger or another analogue-to-digital converter to which a sensor would have to be connected to send measurement results to a computer or tablet.
  • Data transfer to a personal computer, mobile device or cloud service via wired (including USB) and wireless connection.
  • Simultaneous reading of data from several sensors.
  • The software displays data as tables and graphs and exports data to spreadsheet editors and other programs.
  • All sensors in the set are wireless, so no connection wires are needed to connect them.
  • Charger for simultaneous charging of four sensors — included.
  • Supplied with an operating manual and methodological materials for experiments, laboratory work and project activities.

Powered by AI

The digital course contains a separate tool based on artificial intelligence technologies, with generative AI capabilities: an AI agent integrated into the LMS platform and built on the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, i.e. it generates answers based on information retrieved from a defined knowledge base.

AI assistant functions
  • Automated selection of research tasks and experiments according to the topic of the lesson.
  • Methodological support in the form of a step-by-step description of the procedure for conducting experimental research.
  • Detection of typical student errors and individualised recommendations for correcting them.
  • Selection of tasks of different levels of difficulty according to the students’ level of preparation.
  • Support in preparing reports on research results and in structuring conclusions after experiments.
  • Operation on a localised knowledge base aligned with the national curriculum of Ukraine.
  • Helping the teacher select materials and prepare lessons according to the topic of the lesson.
Working with measured data

The sensors provide automatic data transfer to the electronic platform, where the integrated AI agent can:

  • visualise the measured data (graphs, tables);
  • analyse the results obtained;
  • identify patterns observed during the experiment;
  • compare the data with reference values;
  • help students formulate hypotheses, conclusions and interpretations within a defined “knowledge corridor”.

This integration makes it possible to carry out full-scale digital investigations without manual data entry.

Digital Learning Materials

icon plus

The product includes access to digital teaching and learning materials developed in accordance with the national curriculum of Ukraine. They make it possible to conduct lessons using ready-made methodological content and platform tools, including the built-in AI assistant (based on RAG technology), which helps the teacher select materials and prepare lessons according to the topic of the lesson.

The materials are integrated into the learning management system (LMS) and contain:

  • structured research modules in physics, biology and chemistry, as well as STEM;
  • scenarios for conducting practical experiments;
  • step-by-step instructions for performing laboratory work;
  • video demonstrations of experimental research;
  • interactive exercises and tasks.
Compatibility with the equipment

The teaching and learning modules are fully compatible with the equipment supplied to the school. The software and methodological package provides a methodologically sound link between each item of equipment, the method of its use and the expected learning outcomes.

A modern educational solution

The digital laboratory combines software, multimedia content and elements of artificial intelligence to support inclusive and engaging learning. It covers the complete learning cycle, including experiment setup, real-time analysis and interpretation of results.

Development of key skills

Working with the platform develops attention, logical and imaginative thinking, creativity and collaboration skills. Students can complete tasks individually or in groups, practising learning independence and interaction.

Working with UNOWA was a turning point for our university. Their expert-led training in ABA, ADOS-2 and MIKKO reshaped how we think, teach, and prepare inclusive educators. The model inclusion classroom they equipped has become a living lab, a space where theory becomes hands-on skill. This partnership didn’t just support a project. It laid the foundation for a more humane, modern and inclusive education system in Kazakhstan.
